グンカンドリ Frigatebird

 ガラパゴス諸島では、グンカンドリをよく見かけた。

I often saw Frigatebird in Galapagos Islands.

 喉袋を膨らませて飛行している鳥も。  Male birds have a red balloon on their necks.

 巣作りのためのもの？　　　Is he making a nest?

 ノース・セイモア島には、オオグンカンドリとアメリカグンカンドリがいました。

There were lots of Frigatebird on North Seymour Island.

ちょうど繁殖期でした。The time I visited in Galapagos Islands was their breeding season.
