カフェには鳥のエサ台があって、いろいろな鳥たちがやって来ました。

アカエリシトド Rufous-collared Sparrow

ケツァールを観察後、カフェで朝食。お店の前にいたのがアカエリシトド。

After watching Resplendent Quetzal, we went to a restaurant for breakfast. I noticed there was a Rufous-collared Sparrow by the restaurant.

ケツァール Resplendent Quetzal

まだ暗いうちにホテルを出発し、早朝に出会えたケツァール。バードウオッチャーでなくても、この美しさにみんな感動。尾羽が長いのはオス。

I visited Costa Rica on a tour. We left the hotel early morning to see Resplendent Quetzal. Male birds have long tail feathers.

メスも美しい。 female
