キョクアジサシ Arctic Tern

アイスランドでよく見かけたのは、キョクアジサシ。

I often saw Arctic Tern in Iceland in June.

 集団でギャーギャーにぎやか。　　They are aggressive.

 白夜のこの時期、24時間にぎやかでした。

They were flying and shouting for 24 hours a day.

 メダイチドリと一緒にいるのは、ハシブトアジサシ 。

 黒色のクロサギ。　　　Dark morph

 同じ日に、白色のクロサギも見かけた。    Light morph

リュウキュウアカショウビン Ruddy Kingfisher

リュウキュウアカショウビンの羽根は赤いと思っていたら、きれいな紫色だった。

I thought that the wings of Ruddy Kingfisher was red. The fact was beautiful purple.

 とても可愛い。   They are really lovely!
