ニュウナイスズメ Russet Sparrow

 毎年、バスを降りると最初に歓迎してくれるのは、たいていニュウナイスズメ。

Almost every year, I see Russet Sparrow near the bus stop I get off.

 ニュウナイスズメの大集団に出会ったのは出水市。可愛い顔。

I met some huge flocks of Russet Sparrows in Izumi. They don’t have a black patch on each cheek.

 アトリ、スズメ、ニュウナイスズメの混合集団。

Brambling, Eurasian Tree Sparrow and Russet Sparrow

カワラヒワとニュウナイスズメ。出水市には、ナベヅルやマナヅル以外にも、たくさんの渡り鳥が滞在中。

Oriental Greenfinch and Russet Sparrow. There are lots of migrant birds in Izumi, such as Hooded Crane and White-naped Crane.

スズメ Eurasian Tree Sparrow

 日本ではよく見かけるスズメ。イエスズメと違って、ほっぺが黒い。

Eurasian Tree Sparrow has a black patch on each cheek, that’s different from House Sparrow.

イエスズメ House Sparrow

 日本のスズメと違い、ほおに黒い斑がない。　　　　House Sparrow 

 おでこに花粉がたっぷり！  　　　 Look at its forehead. Pollen!
