ホシガラス Spotted Nutcracker

ハイマツ林で暮らすホシガラス。大雪山でよく見かけた。

I sometimes saw Spotted Nutcracker when I was walking on Taisetsu-San in Hokkaido.

ミヤマガラス Rook

 ツルが飛来している季節、出水市ツル観察センターの周囲で見かけるカラスの群れ。

I saw Rook around Izumi City Crane Observation Center in the crane migration season.

オサハシブトガラス Jungle Crow

 八重島諸島で見られる、普通のハシブトガラスより小さい。

I saw a couple of Jungle Crow in Iriomote Island. They are smaller than Jungle Crow of other area.

カワガラス Brown Dipper

カワガラスという名前だけど、カラスじゃない。渓流に沿ってよく飛んでいる。この時も、すぐに飛んでいった。

I’ve seen Brown Dipper flying above stream. It was the first time to see Brown Dipper standing on a stone.

ツバメ House Swallow

海沿いで、一羽のツバメが静かに留まってた。

I saw a House Swallow by the sea in Miyazaki Prefecture.

Several House Swallow were flying at a fishing port in Megi-jima.

リュウキュウツバメ Pacific Swallow

川のそばの電線に留まっていた。

This Pacific Swallow was siting on an electric wire.

モリツバメ White-breasted Woodswallow

ダーウィンの公園で見かけた鳥たち。　I saw them in a park of Darwin.

 モリツバメという名前だけど、ツバメじゃない。でも飛ぶ姿は、少しツバメに似ているように思えた。

They are not swallows. But they looked like swallows when they were flying.

 モリツバメの集団はあちこちに。There were many White-breasted Woodswallow in the park.

メグロヒヨドリ Yellow-vented Bulbul

 シンガポールで時々見かける。　　I sometimes saw them in Singapore.

2016年6月に見かけたこの鳥は、木の上でじっと留まりながらよく鳴いていました。まだ子どものように見えます。

This Yellow-vented Bulbul seemed a chick.
