夏羽のユリカモメは、アイスランドで出会った。

他のカモメより大きい。白くて美しい。　　　Glaucous Gull is bigger than other Gull.

ベニヒワ Common Redpoll

雪に見え隠れしながら、えさを食べるベニヒワ。

A male Common Redpoll was eating and hiding behind snow.

 食べたい。けど、辺りも気になる。　He was looking around.

オスも近くにやって来た。　　male Common Redpoll

メスが２羽。オスが１羽。しばらく食事をした後、飛んでいった。　

They ate for a while, then flew away.

アオショウビン White-throated Kingfisher

シンガポールで何度か見かけたきれいな鳥。

I saw White-throated Kingfisher several times in Singapore.

羽の手入れは大切。　　　　　It was preening itself.

 スッキリ！   All set!

アカガオサイホウチョウ Ashy tailorbird

一生懸命、鳴いていた。　　It was singing frantically.

人間たちを気にしていられない。　　We don’t care about human.

オナガサイホウチョウ Common tailorbird

 蜘蛛の巣の糸などを使って、葉をお裁縫して巣作り。不思議な鳥、サイホウチョウ。

Tailorbird sew leaves with plant fibre or spider’s web to make their nest.

 スンゲイブロウ湿地保護区には４種類のサイホウチョウが住んでいるとか。たくさんのサイホウチョウが鳴いていました。

ブッポウソウ Dollarbird

シンガポールで、前回チラ見した鳥。今回は、はっきりと。きれいな鳥。

ハリオハチクイ Blue-tailed Bee-eater

シンガポールで出会ったのは、ハリオハチクイたち。美しい姿。ボタニックガーデンで、人々の上を飛び回っていた。

Several Blue-tailed Bee-eater were flying above people in Botanic Gardens.

 虫が好き。　　They eat flying insects.

 あっ、虫！　　　　Oh, an insect!

ズアカミユビゲラ Common Flameback

赤いモヒカン。ズアカミユビゲラのオスが会いにきてくれた。感動!

Male Common Flameback has a red head.

 近くに黒い頭のメスもいた。

I also saw a female Common Flameback.
