コアオバト Pink-necked Green Pigeon

 スンゲイブロウ湿地保護区で出会った、きれいなハト。

I met Pink-necked Green Pigeon in Sungei Buloh.

キタカササギサイチョウ Oriental Pied Hornbill

 シンガポールの植物園で、高い木の上に大きな鳥が留っているのに気付いた。ズームで見てビックリ。こんな鳥が都会の真ん中の植物園に飛んで来るなんて。

I noticed that a big bird was sitting on the top of a tall tree in Botanic Garden in Singapore. 

 近くにあと２羽いました。          I found two more Oriental Pied Hornbill.

背景の葉が大きいので、小さな鳥の置物に見える。。。        It looked like a stuffed bird.

チョウゲンボウ Kestrel

石垣島で出会ったオスのチョウゲンボウは、

Kestrel which I met in Ishigakijima Island in January was

何度も虫を獲っては、食べていました。

catching insects and eating them.

だんだん私に近付いてきて、最後はほぼ真上の電線に。

He was getting near to me.

また獲物を探して、羽ばたいています。　　He was hunting again.

チョウゲンボウ Kestrel

 電柱のてっぺんに留っていたオスのチョウゲンボウ。

I found that Kestrel was sitting on an electric pole.

いろいろな表情を見せてくれた。　　It was a beautiful bird.
