 名前の通り白と黒の鳥。水辺にいて、ハクセキレイのよう。

ヤブドリ Steere’s Liocichla

 渓頭には、たくさんのヤブドリがいました。

There were lots of Steere’s Liocichla in Xitou Nature Education Area in Taiwan.

朝、ヤブドリたちは追いかけっこで賑やかでした。

They were chasing in the morning.

タイワンシジュウカラ Taiwan Tit

 ハイキングをしているとやって来た。とんがり頭がかわいい。

コシジロムシクイ Rufous-faced Warbler

 とてもすばしっこい小さな鳥。虫のような可愛い声。 They move quickly.

ノドグロヤイロチョウ Noisy Pitta

 ケアンズから船で50分のフィッツロイ島で１泊。早朝、一人で森をお散歩していた時に、ガサガサと近くで音がした。きれいな鳥。ヤイロチョウでした。

I saw a beautiful bird in the early morning on Fitzroy Island. It was the first time to see Pitta in my life.

ハジロカイツブリ Black-necked Grebe

 目元がきれいなカイツブリ。念願の夏羽のハジロカイツブリに出会えた。以前根室で見かけたのは、冬羽でした。

The Black-necked Grebe I had seen in Nemuro in 2015 was in a non-breeding plumage .

ガラパゴスオオバッタ Painted locust

 チャールズ・ダーウィン研究所でみかけた、きれいなバッタ。 

I saw a locust in Charles Darwin Research Station.

 いろんな場所で見かけた。　I sometimes saw them on Galapagos Islands.

ガラパゴスアシカ Sea Lion

 ガラパゴスアシカの子どもたち。　　I saw many Sea Lions.

 ビーチにも。シュノーケリングの時には、近づいてきました。

When I was snorkeling, a sea lion came toward me and swam together.

 人がいる港でも見かけました。They don’t care about people.

ヨウガントカゲ Lava Lizard

イグアナたちに比べるとずっと小さい。

Lava Lizard is much smaller than Iguana.

ウミイグアナ Marine Iguana

 海にはウミイグアナ。　　　　Marine Iguana

 よく見かけたのは、港でのんびりしている姿。　　　

I saw some Marine Iguana at a wharf.

 チャールズ・ダーウィン研究所近くで、人前でもかまわず一生懸命穴を掘るウミイグアナ。

This Marine Iguana was digging a hole.

小さな島で。巣穴から出てきたのかしら。    

 I saw Marine Iguana by a hole on a small island.
