ギンパラ Chestnut Munia

海沿いの公園の水たまりにギンパラたちが集まっていました。

There were chestnut munias around puddles in the park by the sea.

コシグロキンパラ Javan Munia

 スンゲイブロウ湿地保護区のビジターセンターの近くでは、次々といろんな鳥たちがやって来る。スズメの群れかなと思ったら、コシグロキンパラたちでした。

While I was watching birds near the visitor center of Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, various birds passed by.

シマキンパラ Spotted Munia

 スズメたちかと思ったら、シマキンパラたち。

I thought they were sparrows. But they were not.

 外来種。飼い鳥が逃げて野生化したとか。

Spotted Munia is a foreign species. Spotted Munia was imported and escaped in the wild.

ダーウィンの町で、スズメたちがやって来たのかと思ったら、あら、かわいい顔。

I thought they were a flock of sparrows. But they were different birds.
