ソウシチョウ Red-billed Leiothrix

ジョウビタキやメジロを眺めていたら、ソウシチョウがやって来て水浴びを始めた。

When I was watching birds, I noticed Red-billed Leiothrix came and started bathing.

ヤブドリ Steere’s Liocichla

 渓頭には、たくさんのヤブドリがいました。

There were lots of Steere’s Liocichla in Xitou Nature Education Area in Taiwan.

朝、ヤブドリたちは追いかけっこで賑やかでした。

They were chasing in the morning.

ソウシチョウ Red-billed Leiothrix

 ソウシチョウの群れに会うことはよくあるけど、すばしっこくてなかなか撮れない。美しい色合いにビックリした。

They move swiftly, so it’s difficult to take pictures of them.

カンムリチメドリ Taiwan Yuhina

阿里山で初めて出会った鳥。台湾固有種。   They were the first birds I saw at Alishan.

 口の周りが黄色いのは、       There are cherry blossoms pollen around its beak.

桜の蜜を一生懸命食べていたから。       They were sucking nectar frantically.

阿里山滞在最終日に、ひょっこり現れた。台湾固有種。

I met White-whiskered Laughingthrush on the last day of Alishan trip.

シマドリ Taiwan Barwing

 台湾固有種。Taiwan Barwing is native to Taiwan.

花から花へ、大忙し。　　　　　　They were flying from flowers to flowers.

お散歩中、チラリと見かけた。　　　I caught a glimpse of Grey-cheeked Fulvetta.

ソウシチョウ Red-billed Leiothrix

身近にいる外来種。六甲山でも美しい声が聞こえてくる。すばしっこくてなかなか姿は見えない。

Red-billed Leiothrix is also a foreign species. They song beautifully. But it’s difficult to see them.

ホテルのベランダから眺めていたら、フシギな顔のトリがやって来た。

I saw it from my hotel room.

ちょこちょこ動くので、ピンぼけ。
