ミソサザイ Wren

赤目四十八滝をお散歩中、川の向こう岸でちょこちょこ動く鳥。初めまして。次回は美しい声を聴きたい！

When I was walking along a stream at the 48 falls of Akame, I noticed that a small bird was moving on the other side.

旅の途中でしょう。　　They were heading south.

ギンザンマシコ Pine Grosbeak

大雪山で出会ったギンザンマシコたち。オスは綺麗な赤色。

I went to Taisetsu-zan in Hokkaido to see Pine Grosbeak.

メスは黄色。　female

すぐそばにやって来た。 It was very close!

コマドリ Japanese Robin

ずっと会いたかったコマドリに妙見山で出会った。初めまして。

I had wanted to meet Japanese Robin for a long time. Finally I met a Japanese Robin for the first time in my life when I was walking to the top of Mt. Myoken.

この後、水浴びしました。     He started bathing,

小さな声でさえずりも。　　and singing.

ルリビタキ Siberian Bluechat

川に青い鳥。ルリビタキのオスでした。こんなにじっくり観察できたのは初めて。

I noticed there was a blue bird by a stream. It was a male Siberian Bluechat.

ソウシチョウ Red-billed Leiothrix

ジョウビタキやメジロを眺めていたら、ソウシチョウがやって来て水浴びを始めた。

When I was watching birds, I noticed Red-billed Leiothrix came and started bathing.

ハッチョウトンボ Scarlet Dwarf

 雨上がり直後、雨粒を背負ったハッチョウトンボのオス。

It’s stopped raining. There are raindrops on Scarlet Dwarf.

 日本で一番小さなトンボと言われますが、赤く存在感たっぷり。

It’s said Scarlet Dwarf is the smallest dragonfly in Japan.

ウチワヤンマ Golden Flangetail

 ヤンマと名付けられているけれど、サナエトンボ科。悠々と飛んでいました。

They have flanges.

サンショウクイ Ashy Minivet

 空高くピリリと鳴きながら飛んでいた。そして高い木のてっぺんに留まってはまたすぐに飛んで行った。飛ぶ姿がとても素敵だった。

This bird was flying far above me and sat on the top of a tall tree.

イソヒヨドリ Blue Rock Thrush

 身近で見られるようになってきたイソヒヨドリ。繁殖の時期のようです。

I think the number of Blue Rock Thrush is increasing in the city.

トキ Japanese Crested Ibis

 2018年10月、佐渡の港から電動自転車でお散歩。畑にトキたちがいました。自然な姿を見せてくれました。

I found some Japanese Crested Ibis in the field when I was cycling on Sado Island in 2018.
