スンゲイブロウ湿地保護区にチュウシャクシギたちがたくさん渡って来る。

ササゴイ Striated Heron

 ササゴイの成鳥に出会ったのは、2017年。　

I spotted an adult Striated Heron in 2017.

 ビヨーンと伸びたり。　　 This bird stretched its neck like a tree branch.

まぁるく縮んだり。　　　This bird shrunk like a ball.

ササゴイ Striated Heron

池のほとりの木々に隠れるように留まっている鳥を見つけた。ササゴイ の幼鳥。

I spotted a young Striated Heron by a pond in Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve.

 ビックリしたなぁ。　　You did startle me!

ヨシゴイ Yellow Bittern

 シンガポール植物園の池で水面を見つめていたのは、ヨシゴイ。大きな足。

I spotted a Yellow Bittern by a pond in Singapore Botanic Garden.

シキチョウ Oriental Magpie Robin

2016年台北でも出会った。シンガポール 植物園ではシキチョウの群れに会った。シキチョウのオス。

I’d seen an Oriental Magpie Robin in Taiwan in 2016. In Singapore I saw a flock of Oriental Magpie Robin. This is a male bird.

 頭や胸の色がオスに比べて薄い。シキチョウのメス。　female bird

カワセミ Common Kingfisher

 シンガポール 植物園で見かけたカワセミ。下のクチバシが赤いので、メスのようです。

I noticed a female Common Kingfisher looking down a pond.

コアオバト Pink-necked Green Pigeon

 コアオバトのオス。綺麗な色彩。　　The male Pink-necked Green Pigeon is colorful.

 右はメス。体全体が緑色。　　　Female bird is green.

ミドリカラスモドキ Asian Glossy Starling

ミドリカラスモドキは、公園でもよく見かける。シンガポール植物園で出会ったミドリカラスモドキは食事中だったのでしょう。

I saw Asian Glossy Starling at Botanic Garden in January.

シベリアムクドリ Daurian Starling

 朝、スンゲイブロウ湿地保護区に着いてすぐ、ミドリカラスモドキやコアオバトたちと一緒に、ムクドリがいるのに気づいた。シベリアムクドリ。かわいい顔。

When I arrived at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve in the morning, I found birds on the trees. They are Asian Glossy Starling, Pink-necked Green Pigeon and Daurian Starling.

マダラナキサンショウクイ Pied triller
